One of the first gardens in the nation to be zoned as an Urban Garden. My double plot is in the back on the north side of the garden. I am growing flowers, tomatoes,  heirloom pumpkins, white pumpkins, and gourds.

trade?

Evelyn,

thanks for the post.  however, the map link does not seem to be working.

we also have a plot at Kentucky Gardens.  any interest in trading kale for flowers?

we've got a whole mess of kale, which tastes fantastic cooked down with a fresh tomato or two and some garlic/onion...

let me know!

Thanks for posting on CPL and Gardens

Much to compare.  Tending our gardens.
Would love to get the zoning protection applied to Ward 15 for the Benji Garden and establish gardens on the city owned land adjacent to WC Reed Playfields!  Is posting to RealNEO so hard to understand for the masses?  Or is it fear of being heard?

I do have to admit it took me months to figure it out and I still don't get how to assign categories.  Norm--how about a refresher course some Friday at the Inner Circle--specifically for agencies and institutions that want to post?  Here's a related post from the Cuyahoga Soil and Water Conservation District.  CSWCD will hold its annual meeting on Thursday, September 27th, 6:30-9:00 p.m. at the Seven Hills City Hall-Gathering Room, 7325 Summitview Drive, Seven Hills OH.  The keynote speaker is Carl Skalak, Blue Pike Farm organizer, who will discuss urban organic farming.  There should be an event posted in the realNEO calendar soon (this is a test :)
Here is a MAP to the event (Interesting--Google Maps still calls Seven Hills--Independence :)
BTW-would-be commentators--realNEO allows you to edit your comments for some time--and edit or delete your blog entries, anytime.
