Come to watch films, network, socialize and eat some great Chinese food (not mandatory)! Cleveland IndieClub meetings are FREE to everyone. We meet on the third Sunday every month. The meetings are designed for those who have the passion for making movies using film or video (whether it is in acting, directing, producing, writing, lighting or any other skill) and are looking to network. Cleveland IndieClub is part of IndieClub.com, a national network of filmmakers with over 30,000 members. Come watch films, network, socialize and eat some great Chinese food! A minor request, please patronize the restaurant in buying food; they also have overhead cost to cover for us to have our meeting there free. Time: 6:30pm sharp and usually lasts for 3 to 4 hours. (Parking at the corner of E 30th and Payne Avenue. Li Wah is located in the Plaza. Once in the restaurant, ask for the IndieClub meeting. While it is not a requirement, we ask you please support the venue by ordering drinks or a meal)
SPECIAL GUEST: Cleveland AFTRA President - Mike Kraft & Cleveland Aftra Executive Director Cathy Nowlin TOPIC: Hiring Union Talent in your short or feature film for low $ or even free. About Mr. Kraft: Mike Kraft has been a full-time professional performer since 1981. He is a member of both AFTRA and SAG, and is currently the President of the Cleveland AFTRA local. He has appeared in well over 2000 industrial training films, hundreds of television and radio commercials and numerous live performances, hosts distance learning events for General Motors and Volkswagen and moderates live interactive webcasts for Ernst & Young. He has also appeared in independent and feature films. Cathy Nowlin is in her eleventh year as the Executive Director of Cleveland AFTRA. Previous to this, she has worked for the local since 1979 in a variety of positions including Assistant Executive and Freelance Administrator In addition, We will screen and discuss short films, scenes, and trailers, and others from Ohio filmmakers: - Nick D'Amico's Cleveland Classic Cinema - and others

NOTE: If you have a movie on dvd that you would like to have it raffled, bring it to the meeting to have it raffled off to the participants.
