BLOG TECH BLOG TALK SATURDAY FEB 24 UC ARABICA 1:30

Submitted by Jeff Buster on Mon, 02/19/2007 - 13:38.

Northeast Ohio bloggers and would-be bloggers - all are invited to Arabica- University Circle(upstairs) this Saturday, the 24th from 1:30 -3:30.   We will help anyone who's interested  learn  technical skills:how to post images, events, use the embedded email program and more.  This is an opportunity for readers and contributors to get to know one another face to face. Complimentary coffee and pastries. An RSVP and/or a submission of suggestions for technical help needed via "write to author" (at the bottom of this post) would be helpful.
See you there.

sounds great

Would love to attend this session - I'll assume we are running the newest version of Drupal for training purposes?   I am currently going through some lesson-learning / self tutoring on the latest version and you should see some significant shifts near term in post structure, etc that I'll be doing for the Bioneers site.  Will be interesting to see how some photo integration via GIMP will enhance future posts.  Thanks so much Jeff and so glad to see a team evolving around all the great work we'll be engaging on.   Peace.

I'll be there

Hopefully we will get all our picture, formatting and posting questions answered. If we start at the beginning (for beginners), we can each peel out when we have had as much as we might be able to comprehend and or retain. Since Arabica has more rooms, we can always retreat to practice while the more web and drupal savvy plunge ahead speaking in acronyms!

Yipee, a chance to see Norm work on a projection of your screen while I have my laptop and can follow along!

I am sure I won't be able to go high tech with you guys, but if we do this regularly, we will all be more savvy with the keys.

plan on attending

I'll be representing the Cleveland Web SIG. We just completed a survey of 22 of our members. The top six topics in order of interest: 1) CCS; 2) database driven Web sites, 3) PHP, 4) accessibility, 5) security and 6) podcasting.
We'll be looking for presenters. I'm working on a resource page including bibliography and a review of several Web authoring Yahoo groups covering the first three interests.

I'll be there as well

We have some sort of Jazz in the Afternoon event to go to up on Private Drive at 4 PM, at the McGregor home, so this will work out just right.

Evelyn and I will be there

Thanks for hosting this Jeff. I certainly look forward to seeing where this will lead.
