Ok, I'm willing to try and straighten this out, let's have a go at it

Submitted by Glowbawl on Mon, 01/26/2009 - 07:15.

ok I think that there's a glitch somewhere in the software at Realneo. It just came up recently but it got ahold of the sites inner mechanism. First there were these little hiccup attacks, bullying and blatant dragging of people's names thru the mud and that was very troubling.

Goddess 's Pharmacy

Submitted by Quest-News-Serv... on Sun, 01/25/2009 - 16:52.

> A friend sent this to me. It's been said that God first separated the salt water from the fresh, made dry land, planted a garden, made animals and fish... all before making a human. He made and provided what we'd need before we were born. These are best & more powerful when eaten raw. We're such slow learners...

"Jitney" as fundraiser for green building in East Cleveland

Submitted by Pat on Sun, 01/25/2009 - 15:55.

East Cleveland Theater presents "Jitney" by August Wilson.
Sunday, February 15, 2009.
Sponsored by Windermere Renaissance.

At a ramshackle taxi depot, the middle-aged men who drive unlicensed gypsy cabs, or "jitneys," strive to find honor and accomplishment amidst a landscape of diminishing opportunity. When the station owner's estranged son returns from 20 years in prison, their reunion unleashes two decades of brutal, raw emotion.

Cleveland's convention kabuki

Submitted by Ed Morrison on Sat, 01/24/2009 - 15:40.

 Cross posted in BFD

Cleveland's convention kabuki continues.

Fred Nance got it about right, Cleveland's convention kabuki departed from traditional forms. "It wasn't a well-choreographed play." Ad hochery never is.

But you couldn't beat it for pure spontaneous entertainment.

MMPI and Chris Kennedy swiped Forest City's tablecloth without moving a fork. The move left Nance drying his teeth in front of the cameras commenting on choreography.

My latest

Obama as Savior? He'd better be

by Don Williams

So he can't walk on water.
Nor heal the sick with a touch.
His smile won't summon sunrise, nor cause angelic choirs to sing from the
skies.
Still. Of all the presidential candidates ever to rise on the world stage,
none have appeared more attuned than Barack Hussein Obama to notions of the
common good--notions of inclusion, openness, nurturing, forgiveness and
reconciliation, in keeping with our best spiritual traditions.

UFO appears over Obama’s inauguration! - videos

Submitted by Quest-News-Serv... on Fri, 01/23/2009 - 23:20.

UFO appears over Obama’s inauguration!

That’s right, a large fast moving UFO appeared over Washington D.C. on President
Barack Hussein Obama’s Inauguration day, and these two sources confirms that
some object did fly over the nations capitol without a doubt! Also, per the
Zetas of ZetaTalk.com, more such sightings may or can be expected soon, even
live captures of space ETs.

If real, was the streaking UFO a special sign to show Obama (and his administration)

The State of Healthcare...

Submitted by DesireeSchmitt on Fri, 01/23/2009 - 14:19.

An unpopular topic, I know...

But a topic you may need addressed one day... for yourself... because none of us are getting any younger.

Today put another clinch in my already dismal view of our healthcare system.

Otherwise, I could be heathier than you.  Without healthcare... I'm sure I'm dieing a faster death...

I'm home now after being told the immediate growth on my wrist is a non-emergency.

For me...??  It's the world... my grandmother just died a couple years ago from bone cancer.

Turn left. No, turn right. No, turn diagonally. No go straight.

It’s always good to have crisp, credible directions. Otherwise, how do you know where you are going?

Cuyahoga County Commissioners yesterday gave new directions to where they want to take us. If only we had any idea that they had any real idea where they are taking us.

Reality

Recently, a woman was abducted by car, and raped at Crocker Park in Westlake. Crocker Park is owned by Stark Enterprises.  The Plain Dealer was careful to not identify the location as Crocker Park, but instead lists it as the Promenade. Interesting description of the suspect, too. The police sketch is ambiguous to me.

The following (see below) is a PD report of the announcement made at the end of the day today.

Although many of us have our doubts as to the actual benefit or success a Med Mart/Convention Center investment will have, the fact that the damn location decision has been made is a relief...particularly given the fact the Mall site prevailed.

A tale of two Tremonts

West Side Sun News

Few things expose longstanding distrust between two sides more than an election.

That distrust has re-emerged in the weeks leading up to the Jan. 29 election of trustees for the Tremont West Development Corp. which coordinates neighborhood revitalization and improvement programs, including the spending of taxpayer dollars.
