CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Two muggers robbed a Tremont man at gunpoint early Thursday while he walked home from a bar.

The incident happened about 3 a.m. on West 10th Street near Fairfield Avenue.

Brandon Vulpitta told Northeast Ohio Media Group that he was walking from The South Side bar when he noticed two males following him.

(GREAT POLICE WORK) CLEVELAND, Ohio -- A person suspected of drug activity is dead after he crashed his car into an unmarked Cleveland police vehicle during a pursuit in Tremont, Chief Calvin Williams said.

The officer involved is being treated at MetroHealth Medical Center for broken ribs, a collapsed lung and other injuries, police union head Steve Loomis told Northeast Ohio Media Group.
