Celebrate cool cats at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo during BigLittle Cat Day on Monday, October 10, 2005 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.* (* The Zoo is open from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

Whether you find cats aloof or adorable you’re bound to learn something new about felines. The Zoo’s extensive cat collection includes cheetahs, clouded leopards, Pallas’ cats, snow leopards, fishing cats, lions, Persian leopards and Siberian tigers. As a member of the Species Survival Program Cleveland Metroparks Zoo coordinates with other accredited institutions to ensure the future of all cat species. Learning about big cats and conserving their native habitats is crucial to their survival. Such information is important especially for clouded, Persian and snow leopards and Siberian tigers, which are on the Endangered Species List.
