I saw these kids playing in this public fountain in Glenville, today. It's going to be a long, hot Summer so these public fountains are going to be springing up all over town. While there are some public pools scattered around the inner-city, and water elements in a few parks, urban Clevelanders do not have easy, cheap access to high quality water recreation.

A resident of Tremont lost her dog yesterday afternoon (Wednesday, June 24th). She was spotted on Train Avenue in the early evening hours. Maggie is a brown shepherd mix. She has a thin build and is EXTREMELY people shy. If you spot her please call Megan at 216-235-7727 or The Mutt Hutt at 216-621-6888 as we are trying to help her locate her dog. Its been some time since I've blogged here, but I'm back.  I'd thought I'd post a short but sweet entry on the importance of litter prevention and associated laziness factors to overcome as well as the importance of cleanup after the fact.  Many parts of Cleveland have been greened and treelawned at a tremendous rate and its heartening to see.
