GOT FAT?

Submitted by Jeff Buster on Mon, 08/29/2011 - 09:39.

Butter, cheese, milk, ice cream and Philidelphia Cream (cow image above next to Kraft cream cheese plant in Lowville, NY) coming at us from all angles.

Did Mother Nature intend for adults to continue to consume milk products though their entire life?

Or are dairy lobbies keeping fat intense milk products on our tables to our health detriment and their financial benefit.

London burning - a warning to western civilizations

Submitted by Jeff Buster on Tue, 08/09/2011 - 14:22.

Tomorrow morning this image could easily be of Cleveland, or Detroit, or Buffalo, or numerous other cities across the USA.

Dis-affected young people (and dis-affected older people) are not seeing any practical, legitamate means of productive cooperation with the status quo.

Towing a Trailer is easy. Controlling a trailer in an emergency isn't

trailer towing loss of control jack knife tire blow out new york throughway image 8.11 jeff buster

Towing a trailer is very easy,,,just push on the gas and you can drive just like there was no trailer hooked to your behind.

Until there is an emergency or situation which demands rapid response.

Then you are out of control like the three lucky people in the image above.

Submitted by Jeff Buster on Fri, 07/29/2011 - 22:10.

IF YOU DISAGREE WITH THE WAY THAT THE CITY OF CLEVELAND TREATED FRANK GIGLIO BY TAKING HIS MORTGAGE FREE PROPERTY AND CAUSING HIM TO BE HOMELESS, PLEASE CALL MAYOR FRANK JACKSON AT (216) 664-3990 AND DEMAND SOCIAL JUSTICE.

We are tired of the Social Injustice.

Flag desecration is controlled by different rules around the world.

In the United States of America burning the flag is OK.  And I agree with that.

Overwhelmed by too much to report everyday - can Realneo do justice to its users?

Submitted by Jeff Buster on Wed, 07/27/2011 - 19:37.

There isn't one day that goes by when I don't have so much of community importance to report on Realneo but, unfortunately, I don't have the time to do so.

So many of the daily interactions I have seem of exquisite importance - examples of life's experiences that need to be reported and discussed so that everyone can learn from them.

I'll give you an example.

Kaizen

I am on a steam train headed to Iowa City and a 40ish fellow comes through the car and we start talking.

Creativity, Martini Bars, & Communism - what`s the best plan

Submitted by Jeff Buster on Tue, 07/26/2011 - 19:12.

Who is the grand planner in our business and civic community...Here in free enterprize america we believe that totally random individual activity will result in the most efficient total plan.   But is that realistic, or nuts.

The image above is of the basement Martini Bowling Bar at the Blackhawk Hotel in Davenport, Iowa.

Rahm Emanuel, recently in Mr. Obama's employ, is the Mayor of Chicago.

But Mr. Emanuel wasn't the leader who got ChiTown's Groove back.   The Chicago leaders before Mr. Emanuel took office put Chicago in the fast lane...keeping people in the center of the city, and keeping the buildings full of tenants.

Bill Mason, Ronn Richard, can't get these up

Submitted by Jeff Buster on Mon, 07/25/2011 - 13:36.

This wind turbine blade has a more efficient curved tip section - the latest generation of blade.  The base of the blade is just about 8 feet in diameter - keeping it road width legal for ease of transport.   The load still required 4 pilot cars because of the over - length - in the range of 150 - 200 feet long.

Youth is Anna

Submitted by Jeff Buster on Fri, 07/22/2011 - 23:22.

On a train (steam) out of Rock Island Anna was a passenger - like the rest of us...in the 100 degree heat.

Later that evening over red wine I met her parents at a dinner party and Anna was there too...

(just trying to get this blog together - so far it's fiction)

Sun-Times closing 12 yr old, 100 million printing plant

Submitted by Jeff Buster on Thu, 07/21/2011 - 08:05.

The Chicago Tribune reports that their unionized printing press will close this fall.

400 union workers will be out of work.

Next question: will the plant be dismantled and sold elsewhere? or has the internet made this very new (12 years old) plant obsolete - scrap?

Is the closing the result of decreasing demand for print media or a means of removing the union?   Probably both.

In the North East Ohio area Berea sandstone was used for many building projects, including all the sidewalk slabs in many communities.   The quarries were massive operations.

When it`s HOT - Gelato

Submitted by Jeff Buster on Wed, 07/20/2011 - 16:27.

The Italians have a few flourishes that other cultures do not have.   Gelato ice is one of those flourishes. This display at Gigi Gelateria is in a freezer  with a glass top and faces the public sidewalk in the North End, Boston, Massachusetts. - Every passerby has to look - and resist or buy.

Kathy Wray Coleman, other citizens, address media re: Cleveland Heights kids curfew

Submitted by Jeff Buster on Mon, 07/18/2011 - 19:21.
In a light drizzle at the front door of Cleveland Heights City Hall this evening Kathy Wray Coleman and others addressed the 5 or so commercial news camera crews who were in attendance.   This curfew story obviously must have strong commercial news potential. Cleveland Heights City Hall is located on the Severance Mall campus at the corner of Taylor and Mayfield. There was no police presence, and those 15 or so citizens who attended were a pretty even mix of white and black.

Zack Reed and Jeff Johnson and Norman Edwards ask for # Black labor hours on MEDCON

Submitted by Jeff Buster on Sun, 07/17/2011 - 17:26.

Norm Edwards sees it my way when he states:

that he believed that the entire contract for Medmart was illegal and that it was done purposely to keep out blacks out.

I don't think the MEDCON tax brain child of Tim Hagan was concerned or cared about who worked on the site either which way.  I think the Medcon county wide tax was Tim Hagan's Jim Dimora moment.

Do it in Public, and no one will notice.

Try to grab a tiki hut, and it will be all over the news...

The truth shall set us free.

Gun Study in NEO

Submitted by Jeff Buster on Sat, 07/16/2011 - 22:55.

This is a plastic water pistol I found in the park.   Looked like the lawnmower ran over it.

What was in the head of the designer...was it molded in China...did a parent buy it for their kid...

Pretty sophisticated color scheme.

So I laid the broken pieces out on a white matt for this study.

Great Lakes on My Lawn

Submitted by Jeff Buster on Thu, 07/14/2011 - 19:46.

What is the cost of the infrastructure behind this image?

Watering lawns.

And then the community needs to haul away the cut grass.

Great Lakes water - used for what purpose?

Scott's Lawn says put on the four step process.

What does common sense say?
