I was fortunate to be up early, both yesterday and today, to hear the robins and the sweet plaintive call of the white-throated sparrow.

Born in the Great Depression, my father advised me to choose one of two professions-
doctor or barber.

I haven't read Water for Elephants, yet, but I imagine it taps into a supernatural energy I once felt at a young age--so I will read it for the teens and most likely push it as a young adult novel.

Elephants are symbolic.  They are forever old and young at the same time.  I know the feeling. And, of course, they say--elephants never forget.  I have my own elephant memories.

A great and beautiful day in NEO today--WINDY and SUNNY. 

Let's hope our leaders GROW a HEAD, or two :)

Hard to believe that Norm Roulet introduced the concept of accountability and social media to Northeast Ohio--almost ten years, ago. 

Since then, Facebook, Twitter and other network sites have broken down the Establishment's Rules of Engagement. 

Sadly, today, a Downy Woodpecker collided with the sheet glass windows of a building in our neighborhood.  It's a sickening event to endure.  The thud and then the bird laying in pain on the grass.  It died from the massive trauma.  Migration is occurring now.  Please take time to reduce this problem by making your window surfaces less confusing to migrating and breeding birds.

It pains me to see any one who feels disenfranchised and marginalized in our society--if it offends any one--why can't we remove it?  It especially saddens me, because I love baseball--and a lot of US love baseball.

Per a call to the interim County Treasurer's office, I was able to determine who has been appointed to the boards thus far.

Ultimately, there will be 7 boards-twenty one total members assigned to Boards A-G. 

We need a vision for a better AMERICA.

Dear Norm and Jeff--in the scope of things--you are the dualing forces here at REALNEO. 

Despite your bickering, we need options at this site that will improve the ability to post materials, without one individual, group or other monopolizing the content.

Don't like what you see posted at REALNEO?  Don't read it.  Ignore it. Don't comment on it. Let it die.

Don't form a lynch mob to remove the content--that in itself--defies the notion of FREE
