Now, the city of Boston has been forced to go one step further than merely acquitting those charged -- they have had to respond to Glik's own lawsuit against them. As part of the settlement, Boston will pay Glik $170,000 in damages and legal fees, thus sending a warning to law enforcement that they will be watched and recorded by the public, as well as a warning to cities and states who will disobey the Constitution. BIG MESSAGE HERE, I immediately realize. Then everyone in the car says: It's got to be for Trayvon! Wow! Beautiful!

To Serve and Protect or Punish for Profit? Police "Public Safety" hypocrisySubmitted by Jeff Buster on Fri, 03/23/2012 - 21:13.
Police and Public Safety Hypocrisy
Awhile back when I was in Toronto. Ontario Canada I was ticketed in a traffic sting.
In the heart of downtown Toronto during evening rush hour, right turns are prohibited at certain intersections because there are so many pedestrians that right turners waiting for the pedestrians to clear, effectively block forward motion in the right hand lane.
Here is where public safety hypocrisy and profit enter into the equation.

Trayvon Martin - Right to Assemble & Petition - Tallahassee says Constitution requires INSURANCE! Very cleverSubmitted by Jeff Buster on Fri, 03/23/2012 - 13:59.
Why didn't I think of this? A local ordinance that requires a million dollar commercial insurance policy in order to have a public assembly or public march? Why not a 10 million dollar policy limit if the march is really controversial?

Who will you vote for in the Nov 2013 race for Cleveland Mayor? What do you want as citizens?Submitted by ANGELnWard14 on Thu, 03/22/2012 - 09:59.
Lessons learned only mean something if CHANGE is effectuated to prevent the same mistakes in the future..... Who do you believe is capable of transforming Cleveland's (underground) politics beginning in 2014? Do we have anymore "ED FITZGERALD" types who have been FBI guys that are willing to take on the unethical regime at City Hall? Do we have any citizen groups willing to disrupt politics as usual in Cleveland City Hall?
