According to the unnamed, our future is in their hands

Submitted by Lee Batdorff on Thu, 03/19/2009 - 13:12.

Who imploded the economy? Many critics point to a crucial role played by traders of exotic unregulated financial instruments which are understood by few people. Currently most of these traders at American Insurance Group remain unnamed while receiving bonuses for “safely” dismantling an investment system turned doomsday machine which happens to hold the fate of the world’s financial system.

video "Fidelity," forcibly divorce 18,000 same-sex couples that were married in California - ken starr, prop 8

Submitted by Quest-News-Serv... on Wed, 03/18/2009 - 19:05.

 Hi,

"Have you heard that Ken Starr -- and the Prop 8 Legal Defense Fund -- filed
legal briefs defending the constitutionality of Prop 8 and attempting to
forcibly divorce 18,000 same-sex couples that were married in California
last year? The Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in this case on March
5, with a decision expected within 90 days."

Isnt this horrible. Some people have waited 50+ years to get married and now
that they finaly have been able to, they are being forced to get a divorce.

Submitted by Jeff Buster on Wed, 03/18/2009 - 13:51.

dominion gas worker in truck reading newspaper

All over the United States you will see electric, gas, steam, sewer, and telephone utility workers reading newspapers in the cabs of their trucks – with the truck idling - so it's cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

But you haven’t ever seen a United Parcel Service or a Budweiser  or a Staples delivery truck driver reading a paper in their cabs, have you?

Why is that…?

Small Business Lecture Series

Submitted by BusinessDept on Wed, 03/18/2009 - 09:22.

The Cleveland Public Library (CPL) Collinwood Branch will be holding a two part lecture series focusing on small business ownership. The purpose of the Small Business Lecture Series is to introduce the public to small business resources.

The Series will draw attention to three sources of information that are freely available to city residents: CPL reference and circulating materials, SCORE services, and the experiential knowledge of local business owners. SCORE Cleveland is part of SCORE "Counselors to America's Small Business," a national nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth, and success of the nation's small businesses.

Proposal for Killer Ap for Citizen Dashboard - ONE STOP FOR COMPLAINING

Submitted by Norm Roulet on Tue, 03/17/2009 - 01:38.

In developing the strategy for Citizen Dashboard, Marc Canter and I have included concepts of "killer aps", without defining exactly what they may be... leaving that to community discussion. Marc will drive the community toward realistic objectives - within the bounds of the technology plan under development... and technology reality in general - but the community must decide what is most important to develop first, second, third, etc...

Cancer Cured For Good

Submitted by Quest-News-Serv... on Mon, 03/16/2009 - 23:37.
GcMAF...The vitamin D(3)-binding protein (Gc protein)-derived macrophage activating factor (GcMAF) activates tumoricidal macrophages against a variety of cancers indiscriminately.
GcMAF injections at a cost of $150 per injection, that would cost ~$4500, not counting doctor's office visits and follow-up testing.
