Scranton and W. 14th residents are needed to help document traffic issues on your streets.

The consensus seems to be that the NO Truck Areas should be extended to include Clark from Quigley to W.25th. Scranton from Clark to Kenilworth and W.14th in Tremont.

Secondary Party Affiliations - Democrats Losing Their Way?

Submitted by getoutandvote on Wed, 09/16/2009 - 09:26.

In Ward 14, both candidates who emerged from the primaries seem to have strong 2nd party affiliations.  While both are registered Democrats, has their 2nd party affiliations helped them get out of the mire of the current corruption sweeping local democratic politics?  Will their affiliations help or hurt?  Does it make them more "independent?"  Are 3rd parties ever again going to be able to gain more traction in the political system?  Anyone else find this interesting?

Harveys, Weahrys and Russos, it is time our families meet

Submitted by Norm Roulet on Tue, 07/21/2009 - 07:10.

Adam Harvey, Amy Weahry and Tim Russo, acting as Blackheart Cleveland, you have acted to cause me and my family harm. I believe you are acting with intent, and you claim to be acting as one.

I have met Tim Russo and do not know that I have ever done anything to harm him. I have not met you other two, so consider you strangers.

In your attack against me and my family, you make a series of inflammatory and inaccurate statements, that I challenge. I also challenge your social and ethical behavior, and I call you out personally to explain your actions, to my family.

Smartest Greenest Breuer

Over the past 20 years, I've spent most of my "professional" time as an entrepreneur, with world-class expertise conducting multi-dimensional, multi-client relational comparative data and best practice analyses of any aspects of the world's largest and best global enterprises, environments and systems, and developing and consulting on innovations and total quality improvement. This work has generated a wealth of knowledge on large general systems, with a unique expertise in information systems and telecommunications. REALNEO is a product of this highest level expertise, drawn from the best practices of the best organizations on Earth. What REALNEO has developed for Cuyahoga County - what has been generated out of the REALNEO-generated Real Cooperative - takes general systems innovation to a whole new level of making us the brightest greenest place on Earth. So, we really do have a purpose to Cuyahoga County owning the Breuer, and the vision is beautifully expressed in this great rendering above, to be REAL COOP citizen headquarters of the open source capital of this brightest greenest state of Earth.

The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival is dedicated to bringing plays of professional quality to audiences in the Greater Cleveland area as a way of encouraging community through theater. By performing out of doors in numerous locations, we reach audience members that would be less likely to travel to a down town theater or may be uncomfortable in a more traditional theater setting.

The million dollar question could have Frank Giglio been screwed?

Submitted by Henry Senyak on Wed, 03/25/2009 - 18:13.

What a interesting parallel to the story in today's PD about the Federal Charges against a Cleveland Building and Housing Inspector. Lets recall the long list of electrical violations at Frank Giglio's house. Then I ask you to review the attached PDF and let you come to your own conclusions.

Small Edit I am going to add a picture file taken at the grand opening of La Copa Nightclub on Clark. I think you will see some faces you may know.

"In gerrymandered election districts, the voters don't choose their politicians - the politicians choose their voters!"

Submitted by Norm Roulet on Sat, 03/21/2009 - 10:20.

It is obvious, by any definition, the process of redistricting the City Council wards of Cleveland is gerrymandering. The question is what to do about it. As stated in the title of this posting, "In gerrymandered election districts, the voters don't choose their politicians - the politicians choose their voters!" If that doesn't sufficiently define for you what Cleveland City Council President Sweeney has done, then how about the following...
