In the past two years Quicken Arena and Dan Gilbert have evaded $7.5 million in property taxes. I think if Gilbert has any real concern for Cleveland he’d pay those taxes, most of which comes from Cleveland school children.
If Dan Gilbert had even a smidgen of real interest in Cleveland and its people he would show it by volunteering to pay property taxes on Quicken Arena.
Mayor Frank G. Jackson is extending a special invitation to all Cleveland residents and community stakeholders to participate in one of the upcoming Citizens Participation 2010 community meetings focusing on next year’s spending of CDBG funds and the development of the City’s 2010-2015 Consolidated Plan.
This is a pic that I took last winter showing not only little to no room for handicapped accessability but even not enough room for able bodied pedestrians to make it around the tight squeeze of the fence that is called temporary. This is not to mention the big semi truck bus kitchen on wheels the size of a house that stays parked either on the corner of Jefferson or Professor blocking the view of traffic coming into the intersection and is sooner or later going to cause a little kid to get seriously injured or killed when it darts out in front of a car because this big thing is

Welcome. No matter if the issues are a court appointment, filing paperwork for Sovereign issues or credit/banking/tax problems. Or JUST to be FREE! All we want is to be left alone from government! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The PRO SE - what does it mean? What other words go along with it? Court, self defense in front of a judge, arrest, jail, bond, bail bond - to name a few. Some people say the Name: Sui Juris ; is a Latin phrase that literally means “of one’s own laws”. - Or use "PRO SE" Sovereign.
If you don’t have enough reasons to vote against gambling casinos, Brian Rothenberg, director of ProgressOHIO, has some gems. As the fact that in the first three years of legalized casino gambling in Atlantic City it went from 50th in crime to NO. 1.
This is the mural at the end of the little garden. Sorry if I was off about the address, I was more interested in taking the pictures that the actual address.
I know this mural has been on NEO before but it is still pretty to look at again.
How is it six Senators from states that don’t have even 10 million people tell the people of the United States of more than 300 million that they can’t have the kind of health care they need?
One day after winning victory by a large margin, Mayor Frank Jackson showed he’s a conventional Cleveland Mayor by offering Jeff Jacobs $2 million gift.
Today I went on my first run of the Rescue Railroad. I was invited to ride shotgun on one leg of the journey to Mansfield, Ohio and back to Cleveland with three of the original twelve little dogs that first started out on this run. The engineer of this particular leg was Ted Thelander of Near West Neighbors in Action.
I believe that six of the canines were transported by one driver all the way to New York and the other six were divided into two groups for convenience of the transporters.

Driving at night on the interstates at 65 MPH is really pretty crazy. Your vision is about a 1000xs less able to collect life saving data than in the daylight.
Is that a deer looking to go for a meal in the median? Just a shadow in the asphalt or a 42 lb steel reinforced radial truck tire chunck?
Whatever...
Cruise control doesn't get scared and even falter a 1/2 MPH.
Cuyahoga County taxpayers now have “contributed” some $68 million for the proposed Medical Mart project. I guess all the great needs of this area have been superseded by special interests again.
This is the scene on the "ring of death" today. It took big huge tow trucks and the Air Cushion Recovery System hours to get this big truck back on it's wheels. Several police cruisers were strategically parked creating a blockade while a number of Police Officers attempted to direct the traffic roundabout the roundabout.

Freedom and Jeff
Freedom and I have been together 10 years this summer. She came in as a baby in 1998 with two broken wings. Her left wing doesn't open all the way even after surgery, it was broken in 4 places. She's my baby.
