My friend Robert Scoble announced a new kind of blog channel this weekend st SXSW - a geek and music conference in Austin, TX.  It's called Bldg 43.

Once a year, during the brief run of the Cleveland International Film Festival, Cleveland feels like one of the great cities of the world. For a little more than a week the grand space of Tower City is filled with life; diverse crowds of art lovers flow in and out, steadily buzzing with excitement for what they are experiencing. Because it only happens once a year, it is easy to overlook The Cleveland International Film Festival as one of Cleveland's greatest assets.

One of DC's friends had his house invaded by gunmen... another friend went ballistic and killed five family members, and himself... and DC was denied a job because he is “colored”. This last problem is the most serious, because it causes the first two, a million times over each year in America, and seems all too commonplace here in real NEO.

Today, I was fortunate to hear Sandor Katz discuss microorganisms and understanding how communities can determine our overall health.  Sudhir, Jenita, Frank G. and many more were in attendance today, so you will hear many reports.

 While some people are struggling to keep a roof over their heads and feed and clothe themselves and their children too many are living too high in these desperate economic times.

My name is Marc Canter.  I was the guy who first introduced Norm Roulet to Drupal like 5 years ago. (or was it four? - it's hard to keep track.)

Anyway I've recently been working with Norm on a new proposal called the 'Citizen Dashboard'.  Its been fashioned for Cuyahoga County - but could (obviously) be used anywhere. I've posted it on my blog and facebook today and I'll be flogging this horse as I collect input from you folks.  That's my next step.

Last evening at a block club meeting in Ohio City, I was made aware of a great potential loss to Cleveland's built environment and history. I was invited to view a presentation to the block club group concerning two churches in that near westside neighborhood.
