Rail Road engineering is some of the finest engineering.   The trains have to keep on schedule, and the tracks have to be always passable.  

In the image above, avalanche/dry landslide sheds deflect rock over the tracks on the Canadian National east of Vancouver, Canada.  The telephone poles near the sheds have wires which trip an alarm if a rock hits the wire.

Living in a car isn't something that anyone would recommend. However, when you get laid off, your emergency fund runs out, your home is foreclosed (or you get an eviction notice) and there's nobody to help, living in your car might be the only choice, especially if you don't feel safe at a local shelter.  When we are young (and even when we are old) we are all mixed up.   In our youth (or adult-hood) we may be in conflict about our sexuality, and in our maturity (or youth) we may be in conflict about the merits of our political system.

But at whatever age we are, we don't need anyone filming and streaming our bedroom on line.  

That's out. Way out. SICK.

This is an image of an experiment set up to heat outside plants 12 months of the year.   Lots of electricity expended.  Not sure what the function of the  wire basket is.

Taking a break from the usual fare here--I will share a book with REALNEO.  At the recommendation of a young girl, I ordered Good Fortune by Noni Carter through the library.  I was hesistant at first.  I'll admit that I am weary of the recently popular, go-to thematic choices for young adult literature--vampires, gangs, and slavery.

Riding the curve is what VC's do.  They want to ride it up.  Oh, do they want to ride it UP!

But,  if the VC's have an admonition, if VC's see the curve only going up for a bit more, then the time to go public is ASAP.

a few minutes ago about 7:20 pm on saturday feb. 25, 2012 i heard a tone sound in my right ear like when a hearing test the different frequencys and i have had this many times before over the years (and other things) and this happens before a earthquake usally in the cleveland ohio and or close by like the 4.3 earthquake that hit illinois midwest on feb. 21, - that sound in my right ear was of a higher frequency ( about 24 hours before the earthquake) then just a few minutes ago - there are many other indicators that our body etc.

Money must be concentrated in a few people's pockets (or electronic accounts) for "jobs" to be created.  

Concentration of wealth is what has made America Great.
